I grew up listening to Shirley Caesar, Dorothy Love Coates, Mahalia Jackson, Sam Cooke and The Soul Stirrers, The Davis Sisters, James Cleveland, Inez Andrews, The Caravans among others. Having friends in the gospel world and as owners of record labels, i decided that after many years of sharing some of my gospel knowledge with​ other Brothers and Sisters and other folks on their websites and directly, I would make my own gospel website. I want to put some of my deep gospel knowledge "out there" for all to see and hopefully enjoy.    

My ideal gospel styles are The quartets, quintets, female groups and the gospel soloists from the 1950's through to the 1990's. I love a good choir too. Give me some good thigh slapping quartets from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and the Carolinas and i'll be a happy Brother. I own many hundreds of gospel 45's, lp's and cd's; i'll try to provide more updates from them when i can. I DO NOT own any record labels myself.

I want to share information and discographies on obscure and rare gospel labels, especially OUR black owned gospel labels, as well as the larger labels. I have uploaded over 40 discographies which i have already completed or mostly completed; I am currently working on more than another 20 discographies. I also want to provide and exchange information on many of the singers and groups that are often overlooked yet just as deserving of recognition as the greats; even some of the gospel greats have minimal information provided on them, as you'll see in my Artists section. Any contributions are warmly welcome and highly appreciated, the contributor will receive full acknowledgement of their input. 

I aim to have updates every few weeks with artist information, new discographies and additions (if any). My album info section includes pictures of album covers with detailed information on the specific album, the singer/groups, label, songs on the album and other relevant information. I will also aim where possible to include songs from the albums attached for your listening pleasure. My 45's and 78's section includes pictures of the 45's, with the information on the specific songs on the 45, the singer/groups and the label, and ideally have the song available for listening.
