The Georgia Mass Choir was founded by Rev Milton Biggham, with E Larry McDuffie as one of the co-founders of the choir; James Bignon is the choirs' minister of music; James has recorded extensively on the AIR label with his own group Deliverance, while also continuing to record with the Georgia Mass Choir. Milton sings on many of the Savoy releases, especially with this choir; he is also a great director, producer and songwriter, i consider Milton to be the modern powerhouse at Savoy, his storytelling, singing and great musical ability are beyond compare. E.Larry McDuffie has recorded extensively with his choir The Savannah Mass/Savannah Community Choir. This album is the second album by the Georgia Mass Choir, they have recorded more than 10 albums for Savoy.
