This group were originally known as The Cotton Blossom Singers, they were originally organized while the group members were 8 and 9 years old. The group were then later known as The Jackson Harmoneers in the 1940's when they recorded on Excelsior Records and Peacock Records. The group would later be known as The Original Five Blind Boys and then The Blind Boys Of Mississippi. The group were the only nationally known blind singing gospel group, before The Blind Boys Of Alabama rose to prominence. This is one of their best albums.
