This is one of Dorothy Love Coates' best and rarest Lp's. Dorothy recorded extensively, especially on Specialty, Savoy, Nashboro, Exodus, Richburg, Vee-Jay and other labels. When I spoke to Dorothy in Birmingham, Alabama in 1996 she stated that she would like to record a new album, unfortunately her health declined and she passed away in 2002 without ever releasing that new album.
